3x3 Christmas Card Class

These were the cards that were made in my class on Wednesday. I cased the elf card from Katherine Constable and the cards using the Scentsational Season stamp set I cased from DeAnn Rauzi I changed them up a little and gave the card 2 layers instead of one. The glove card was originally done by me and I decided to make a box for them to be put in. This class was a lot fun.

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Card

This card was inspired by the November 2012 Stampin' Success. Instead of using Whisper White c/s I decided to use the 2 colors used for the snowflake, (Primrose Petals and Gumball Green) as the base. It was very simple and quick to do. I think I just might use this card for my next class.
Thanks for stopping by.

I made this card for a customer of mine who placed an order. Just a small token to show her how thankful I am for her business and her friendship. I hope she likes it.

Oh Christmas Tree

Excuse the background as you can see I have been busy in my craft room. LOL!!!!

This is my version of the card that Melissa Stout from the Stamp Doc showed on her blog. She used the stamp set Scentsational Season and Sweets for the Sweet. I felt that the items she used overwhelms the tree a little so I changed it up a bit and used the Jolly Jingle Bits stamp set and cut them out. I used Crystal Effects on the cut outs to make them pop a little and adhered them with dimensionals. Thank you Melissa for sharing such a wonderful idea.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping.

Featured Ornament

So I decided to join the fun and make the ornament that's featured in this years Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini and not only was it fun but it's really simple as well. Linda Heller has an awesome tutorial on Youtube with complete instructions on how to make these. If you google her name you can follow her blog or if you have access to Stampin' Connection you can see it there. I think these will make good tree decorations, or a nice gift tag.

Hunting Season

A treasure hunt that is. You have from now to October 31, 2012 to gather up 50 clues and email them to me ( to be entered in a drawing for $150 worth of Stampin' Up! supplies from the lovely Sherrill Graff. I will also enter you in a drawing for some blog candy of my own, think on a smaller scale. Anyways, the details.

There is a list of blogs on my sidebar, check them out and find the clues. Not all the blogs will have a clue and some of the clues may be hidden under other posts. You will know if they are participating because you will see this picture.

And then under that you will see a picture of a Stampin' Up! item as their clue. Like this:

This is my clue the Big Shot. This machine is awesome, and so versatile...

So have fun and remember to email me the list of blogs and their clues. And you only have until October 31 to collect 50!

I Am.... a Winner....

So at Convention we were told that if we blogged about the classes that we took that there was going to be a drawing and about 5 winners were going to be picked. So little ol'e me decided what the heck I have absolutely nothing to lose right. So blogging I did, about the classes I took and my opinions about them.
So today I was of course looking at the catty and wondering what I was going to order and I thought about if they had drawn these winners and if they were going to broadcast them but I just as quick as the thought came it went. So my phone rings minutes later but I didnt pick up because it was a 3 digit number and looked weird so here I thought "oh gawd! telemarketers" but a voicemail was left and I decided to see what the voicemail was about and here it was a female by the name of Andrea calling me from Stampin' Up! because I was a lucky winner how weird and awesome is that? I couldnt stop smiling... God is Good....

Awesome Ad!!! I think it's funny and humerous....

Scissor holder from Convention

So at convention one of the projects they demonstrated was this scissor holder for your paper snips. This is so simple to do and they make good gifts. Hmm. I took me no time to make it. Hope you like it!!!

Halloween Already?!?!

I made this card in such a rush because I had to work tonight. I mixed black embossing powder with iridescent ice embossing powder so it has some shimmer to it. For a rush job I like the way it turned out.

Sunday, August 5, 2012

I made this card yesterday before I went to Cathy's (my downline) house. Something simple not too fancy. I finally learned how to use the spritzer tool can you believe it after all these years being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I used the new in colors and the stamp set From My Heart.

I Am Reaching Out - Emily Montoya

I Am Reaching Out - Emily Montoya. Emily spoke about the age group of 25-35 and how to get their attention. Loved this class. Emily referred a lot to what Jason Dorsey spoke about in his presentation about Baby Boomers, generation X, and Gen Y. She was great and she's pregnant. LOL! And can you believe she is not a demonstrator but shes awesome.

I Am Doing Business "My Way" - Bonnie Thurber

I Am Doing Business "My Way" - Bonnie Thurber. Bonnie is as real as it can get, this class was really, really, informative with real life stories. The class touched on what a private class has, and tips on conducting a private class. Keeping your projects simple so that people can actually make them and not feel intimidated. To me this class was the most helpful of all of them. And of course I had to take a pic with Bonnie Thurber to me she's a celebrity.

I Am Open for Business - Carrie Cudney

I Am Open for Business - Carrie Cudney, she is so talented. Carrie also gave some great tips in her class, she spoke about managing our business and putting it out there. Basically creating awareness to your business. This class was very helpful.

I Am Having Fun - Shannon West

I Am Having Fun - Shannon West - OMG!!! she has got to be my favorite, this class lived up to it's name FUN. Shannon did a dance with Brian Pilling who by the way is hilarious. Shannon broke down the science of fun, what fun is to you, and how to add fun to your events. Very informative class. Love her, she's awesome.

Stampin Up! Convention 2012

This is Susan we went together to the Stampin' Up! Convention 2012, she was my roomie. Here she was on line for the Memento Mall and at the same time we were swapping, this is the begining of the fun.

These were some of the items at the Memento Mall. I bought one for my downline and some of my friends yay!!! I brought back so many things from Memento Mall OMG!!! But I didn't need another carry on like Susan did LOL!!!

I Am a First Time Recruiter - Jill Leigh

This is Jill Leigh she taught the class I Am a First Time Recruiter. This lady was awesome in her presentation. She gave a lot of helpful information, and it was funny because she had 2 demonstrators that she had who were telling they're success stories and Jill commented that she felt like Oprah. Over all the class was great! Convention was great my first time and clearly not my last.
