Christmas in July

So one of my demos needed a little help coming up with an idea for a fund raiser she has in July for one of the local shelters in her town but we needed a Christmas in July kind of theme. So after putting in my thinking cap this is what I came up with.

I am loving this stamp set Hot Diggity Dog.

Well I hope she likes it.

Thank you for stopping by and as always
Happy Stamping!

Dryer Sheet Technique - Christmas

This Christmas card was made using the dryer sheet technique. Tami White has a great tutorial on her blog on how to make this card using this technique.  I was trying to capture the glitter but the camera did it no justice if you see this card in person it would definitely WOW you. I used the Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I love that it has all that glitter. Happy Stamping!

Star burst Technique

Made this card using the starburst (or sunburst) technique. Dawn Olchefske has an awesome tutorial on how to make this card using this technique. So far her instructions have been the simplest I've seen. These are pretty easy to make.  Happy Stamping!

Mrs. Santa Claus Christmas

This card was inspired by a tag that a fellow demonstrator made. I decided to make it into a card. I love the turn out. Hope you like it as well. Happy Stamping!

3x3 Christmas Card Class

These were the cards that were made in my class on Wednesday. I cased the elf card from Katherine Constable and the cards using the Scentsational Season stamp set I cased from DeAnn Rauzi I changed them up a little and gave the card 2 layers instead of one. The glove card was originally done by me and I decided to make a box for them to be put in. This class was a lot fun.

Christmas Card

This card was inspired by the November 2012 Stampin' Success. Instead of using Whisper White c/s I decided to use the 2 colors used for the snowflake, (Primrose Petals and Gumball Green) as the base. It was very simple and quick to do. I think I just might use this card for my next class.

Oh Christmas Tree

Excuse the background as you can see I have been busy in my craft room. LOL!!!!

This is my version of the card that Melissa Stout from the Stamp Doc showed on her blog. She used the stamp set Scentsational Season and Sweets for the Sweet. I felt that the items she used overwhelms the tree a little so I changed it up a bit and used the Jolly Jingle Bits stamp set and cut them out. I used Crystal Effects on the cut outs to make them pop a little and adhered them with dimensionals. Thank you Melissa for sharing such a wonderful idea.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping.

Featured Ornament

So I decided to join the fun and make the ornament that's featured in this years Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini and not only was it fun but it's really simple as well. Linda Heller has an awesome tutorial on Youtube with complete instructions on how to make these. If you google her name you can follow her blog or if you have access to Stampin' Connection you can see it there. I think these will make good tree decorations, or a nice gift tag.
