My Paper Pumpkin - June

So this is how the Paper Pumpkin kit starts off. You get all these embellishments and paper and you even get instructions on what to do.

And then you unleash that creativity and these are the things you 

can come up with. The cards are not part of the kit. 

So I used the retired framelit die, and came up with some cards. 

A small version of the big pinwheels. I used the paper that came 

with the kit.

These are the pinwheels you get to make which are awesome for 

4th of July which is around the corner. The kit lets you make a total 

of 24 pinwheels, but why stop there, you can make a bow to embellish

a gift, a treat, or it can be a table decor. The possibilities are endless.

My Paper Pumpkin - May

This is May's My Paper Pumpkin kit not assembled. I did not run out and get my dad a Father's Day card like I usually do in addition to the one that I make for him. I know bad daughter LOL! and I look to my left and what do I see, that little red box whispering in my ear "open me, open me" and thank God I did. So I went to work.

And ta-da! This was the end result of the kit, which not only came in handy for my Father's Day card to send to my dad, but I was also able to make a birthday card for my cousin whose like a brother to me. SO I was able to kill 2 birds with one stone. LOL! (no birds were harmed in the making of this kit LOL!)

Burlap & Blooms Simply Created Kits

After an eventful day, of enjoying the weather yesterday, I decided to take some time and hangout  in my craft room, and I ran across one of the Simply Created Kits, this kit is retired but I never put it together. So I went at it, and look. Love it. My door will be decorated in time for the beautiful weather that is yet to come.

I WON!!!

So I was driving home from work, and I got a text from my friend Susan Timchak. In the text she was congratulating me in being one of the winners for week 1 of the Paper Pumpkin Boot Camp. I rushed home to check my email and by golly she was right. I was one of the winners and I won the May 2014 "Hey Man" kit. Even tho' I already have this kit, I was so happy that I was chosen out of the many demonstrators who are participating in this Paper Pumpkin Bootcamp. It was a good day. 😊
