Perfect Peacock

This is a new stamp set from Stampin' Up!, I didn't think I was going to like it but it's so versatile especially when it's time to color it. I used both the Blendabilities and the Stampin' Write markers and I finished it off with putting glitter all over the image. The picture does not do this card any justice but in person its a beautiful card.

New Business Venture

So I decided to take on a new business venture. I became a consultant for ThirtyOne I know it's very different from the crafting world but who says they cannot go hand in hand right. So here it goes. My Paper Pumpkin - June

So this is how the Paper Pumpkin kit starts off. You get all these embellishments and paper and you even get instructions on what to do.

And then you unleash that creativity and these are the things you 

can come up with. The cards are not part of the kit. 

So I used the retired framelit die, and came up with some cards. 

A small version of the big pinwheels. I used the paper that came 

with the kit.

These are the pinwheels you get to make which are awesome for 

4th of July which is around the corner. The kit lets you make a total 

of 24 pinwheels, but why stop there, you can make a bow to embellish

a gift, a treat, or it can be a table decor. The possibilities are endless.

My Paper Pumpkin - May

This is May's My Paper Pumpkin kit not assembled. I did not run out and get my dad a Father's Day card like I usually do in addition to the one that I make for him. I know bad daughter LOL! and I look to my left and what do I see, that little red box whispering in my ear "open me, open me" and thank God I did. So I went to work.

And ta-da! This was the end result of the kit, which not only came in handy for my Father's Day card to send to my dad, but I was also able to make a birthday card for my cousin whose like a brother to me. SO I was able to kill 2 birds with one stone. LOL! (no birds were harmed in the making of this kit LOL!)

Burlap & Blooms Simply Created Kits

After an eventful day, of enjoying the weather yesterday, I decided to take some time and hangout  in my craft room, and I ran across one of the Simply Created Kits, this kit is retired but I never put it together. So I went at it, and look. Love it. My door will be decorated in time for the beautiful weather that is yet to come.

I WON!!!

So I was driving home from work, and I got a text from my friend Susan Timchak. In the text she was congratulating me in being one of the winners for week 1 of the Paper Pumpkin Boot Camp. I rushed home to check my email and by golly she was right. I was one of the winners and I won the May 2014 "Hey Man" kit. In This Together

This card was made for my friend and downline Cathy Stafford. I have a birthday club going on, on Facebook and Cathy's birthday was on May 25th, I couldn't post it until she received it so that it didn't ruin the surprise. So here it is, I used the In This Together stamp set also new from Stampin' Up! I used the daffodil delight blendabilities for her dress. 

I think I have said this before but I am not a person that likes to color but I am so hooked on the blendabilities by Stampin' Up! I look for things to color just so that I can used them. LOL! 

I have another card for another fellow friend and demonstrator Sherry Duffy Peyton but I cannot post it until she receives hers as well. I used the blendabilities for that one as well.

Something for Baby

I have not made a baby card in a while, so after much thinking, I came up with this. This is more for a baby boy I like it's turn out. I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Something for Baby which is the new catalog that does not go live till June 2nd. I also used Baby, We've Grown for the sentiment, that stamp set is from the Occasions catalog and once the Occasions catalog expires this stamp set will transfer over. I'll be posting the other cards I am working on today so stay tuned. Till then...

Eastern Blooms

So I decided to turn back the hands of time and take a short trip down memory lane. I blew the dust off of some of the retired stamp sets that I decided to keep and cannot part with. Eastern Blooms is one of them. I made the card as simple as possible and added some bling and dazzling diamonds around the edges, bling and glitter always make every look so glamorous. The sentiment is from another retired stamp set, recently retired Delightful Dozens. I like it's turn out.
